Duke (Fuqua) Business School
Diary
 |
Aditya Beri, Duke Fuqua School of Business Class of
2006 |
After doing my undergrad in Economics at Dartmouth, I
decided to head into strategy consulting with a boutique
firm in Washington DC. I spent almost 4 years there,
progressing and learning quickly. However, I began to
realize that I didn't have the breadth of skills necessary
to truly be a well balanced executive and felt that a
Business Degree would help me attain those skills quickly.
In addition, I wanted to see if consulting was really what I
wanted to do for the long-term and knew that the courses I
would take, and the people I would meet at Business School,
would help me decide what I actually want to do in the
future.
I chose to join Fuqua because it's a dynamic and team
based environment, has a strong international population,
and has an impressive collection of professors who teach a
flexible and diverse curriculum. It also seems to be a
really fun place, with a supportive student body.
